2018 Holiday Gift Guide: Style

This holiday season, I am trying to stay away from the clunky sweaters and green and red patterns. Well, every holiday season I stay away from the clunky sweaters and green and red patterns. Instead, I tend to go for a more neutral approach and let my surroundings be festive. If you are in the same boat, then let me make a few suggestions.

In need of a suit for the holidays? Then check out Indochino. They offer custom tailored suits, shirts, tuxedos and overcoats with clean and modern cuts. You can select certain details such as the buttons, stitching or lapel shape. The best part of this entire made-to-measure process is the price! The suits (and all of their other products, for that matter) are high quality, yet affordable. So next you think about renting a suit or tuxedo for a holiday party, wedding or, sadly, a funeral, know that you have a better option. Stop by one of Indochino’s 30 showrooms and let them take care of you. You will definitely notice the difference in the fit, quality and customer service. While you are at it, pair that spiffy Indochino suit with a Wolfpoint watch. The Chicago-based company offers some progressive styles using best-in-class Chicago Horween Leather for every watch band and Ronda quartz movements to power every watch. The Princeton Horween and Norwood Milanese, both shown above, are two of my favorites. If you are interested in how the watches our made, click here. It’s pretty insightful!

If suits aren’t your thing (they really aren’t mine), then stick to some the classics like a crisp white tee and a denim jacket. Baldwin, a modern American fashion house, continues to offer stellar quality for their well-designed denim, tees and jackets. If you into a neutral palette, then you’ll be quite satisfied with this Kansas City-based brand. Their minimally designed storefronts boast a well stocked inventory of garments in white, navy, black, and olive.

Are you even more casual than a white tee and a denim jacket? Hey, I get it! Check out Tommy Hilfiger’s loungewear collection. Their simple, color block crew neck with matching sweatpants are made of lightweight, stretch cotton. Yup, I said stretch. Code for: I’ll grab myself a third serving of Christmas dinner, please.

Now you can pack all of this great stuff in your Killspencer Weekender 3.0 duffle bag. If you don’t know much about Killspencer, you have to check out their website and product line. Their overall aesthetic is crisp and helps me (and the OCD in me) sleep better at night. Their collabs are unique and their workmanship never disappoints. And last, but not least, are my favorite new Warby Parker eyeglasses. The Percey in a Midnight Tortoise Fade, shown above, are the latest pair in my collection. I accidentally “misplaced” my last pair… in another country… 11 months ago. 🙂 What’s even more sad, is that I just realized this abut a month ago.
