If you have feet and wear shoes, you should probably be using some form of foot and shoe spray. I have been a runner for 20+ years so I have seen a few funky shoes in my years. Your feet get stinky and moist (I HATE that word!) and shoes can get that mildew smell. We have all smelled a pair that we wanted to just throw away. I am guilty of that, but let’s try to salvage that favorite pair of sneaks. After I wear my shoes for a long period of time, usually 6+ hours, I always let them air out before sticking them back in a shoe box or shoe bin. This allows my shoes to dry up a bit from the sweat and any moisture they absorbed from being outside. I take them off, give them a quick spray with the Arm & Hammer™ Odor Defense Shoe Refresher Spray and put them aside for a day or so. The spray helps eliminate the odor. Cool part about this spray is that it’s Aluminum-free, dye-free and paraben-free. Even cooler, the sprayer works at any angle, even upside down!
Once my shoes are taken care of, it is time to spray my feet. Whether you wear socks with your shoes or sometimes no socks (guilty!), your feet sweat… like a lot! I spray my feet to help fight any foot odor and to help keep my feet fresh. Do it before you put your shoes on or afterwards to freshen up. Either way, just spray!
TIP: Set up a mini shoe/foot station in your closet to make everything accessible. I have mine set up on a shelf with my Arm & Hammer shoe spray, Arm & Hammer foot spray, Band-aids and a box of Jason Markk Quick wipes.
